Tehran Int'l Short fest unveils playlist

Tehran Int'l Short Festival announces schedule of upcoming films and panels for the 39th annual event.

According to the festival's media and communications office,  the screenings will begin on Wednesday, October 19 with the screening of films in "National Cinema" and "International Cinema" sections.

This year more than 5000 films from 131 countries were submitted to the festival and the international selection committee chose 59 films to compete in the international section.

TISFF is an Oscar-qualifying event that will be held between 19-24 October in Tehran, Iran.
